Dawn Tyler Watson made Quebec shine internationally by winning the International Blues Challenge (IBC) in 2017, becoming the first Canadian and the first woman in 25 years to win this prestigious award. In 2020, her album "Mad Love" won the JUNO for Blues Album of the Year. She has also received two Maple Blues Awards for Recording and Production of the Year, as well as Songwriter of the Year.
